- Heat a tall pot over medium heat and add the olive oil.

- Cover and cook the rice undisturbed for about 20 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the rice, stirring gently. If desired, cut the shrimp into smaller pieces.
- Ensure there is enough broth; add more water or broth if necessary.
- Cover and cook for another 5 minutes or until the rice is cooked but slightly chewy in the middle.
- Serve with freshly chopped cilantro.
